School Supply Lists
2014-2015 School Year

There are 3 ways to obtain your school supplies:

1)  Purchase the items yourself based on the grade level lists above, OR
2)  Order an EDUKIT - all supplies are shipped directly to the school, free shipping.  Use the order form above and return it to the school by the deadline of May 23, 2014.  All checks should be made out to PWES PTO, OR
3)  Order online at www.edukitinc.com.  Deadline for online orders is:  May 30th, 2014.

Did you miss the deadlines above? . . . . . You have one LAST CHANCE!

Take advantage of Edukit's LAST CHANCE online sale.  After June 1st, kits may be purchased "LAST CHANCE" online, until July 25, 2014.  There is a $20.00 additional fee for LAST CHANCE kits.
Recycling at PWES
Image

Please remember, we are always collecting the following at Prairie Winds:

  • Variety of empty food wrappers, drink pouches, glue sticks & bottles, writing instruments and 3-ring binders for the 5th grade TerraCycle program.  TerraCycle upcycles the collected items into new products, and the wildlife around Yellowstone National Park benefits from the 5th grader's hard work.
  • Used/broken small electronics, laptops & Inkjet/toner cartridges for the 4th grade Ecobuddies program.  The 4th graders earn points for their recycling, which they will use to help the non-profit of their choice.
  • Old batteries:  Keeps these dangerous items out of our landfills.
  • Unneeded sporting goods:  Please hold on to your items until our next school sports equipment swap/donation day at the beginning of the school year.
  • Children's books!  Bring a book, take a book, at the Little Lending Library in the commons area.   A great way to pass along all of those books you have outgrown to a new reader.
Please drop off any of these items to the front office, or send in anytime with your child (with the exception of the sporting goods.)  Thank you for helping support our students in their commitment to being good stewards of the planet.

If you need any additional information regarding our collection programs, please contact the front office, or look in the information rack outside the office.

How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.  -Anne Frank
